I'll take the Deal!

Today we went to Kinser Festival (a festival of games, food, etc. On the Marine Corp Base) I entered last week to play the Deal or No Deal game. (Not the real one with Howey, but a re-inactment.) There was 20 contestants and 20 prizes... so everyone would win! Grand Prize was 2 RoundTrip tickets to the states (Valued @ $10,000) , A pedicure, a Scuba Package, Flowers, Etc. So I was Contestant # 2!! And I picked Lucky # 13. After Everyone picked their case we got to open them to see what was inside!!!!

I was the GRAND PRIZE WINNER!!! 2 FREE TICKETS TO THE USA!!!
How COOL is that! Josh is going to come and visit with one of the kids, probably around Feb. I will stay home with one of them and keep working.... I have taken alot more trips to the states, so I guess that is fair!!!

Physical Therapy

I have to drive 3 times a week to Camp Lester Hospital (30 min +) for Physical Therapy for my wrist. I have severe tendinitis on the left side of my wrist and 3 pulled ligaments on the right. They gave me a heavy duty brace to wear 24/7. (I try to wear it that much) I go for steriod injections which take 13 min. They hook up what looks like littke jumper cables to my wrist and arm and leave it for 13 min. They apply steriod medication to one hook up and the magnetic force pulls it through my wrist. It hurts, but not too bad. Like how a shot feels without the sharp needle actually sticking in you! I have another 2 weeks of the treatment to see if it is better?? If not, I go to a specialist to get cortizone injections and possible surgery.

Ill keep ya'll updated!

Drive from Washington to California!

Alright, the stories continue from our trip to the states in July! There are SO many pictures and things that we did; it will take a while to catch up!
After we flew into Washington, there was no flights to Travis AFB until the following evening... so that meant having to get a rental car and hotel.... Josh said "lets just get a rental car
and drive all the way to your moms!" So thats what we did! I wasnt too excited, though I may look like it! ;)

Josh had never seen WA, OR or the northernest part of CA. It was a beautiful drive the whole way through. We saw Mt. Shasta, which was really pretty.

We actually enjoyed seeing mountains and pine trees again! (we are too used to palm trees and ocean)

We drove straight through and arrived to meet my mom @ 2:30am in Sacramento.

Dropped off the rental car and headed to Grandma Sandys House!

Update on pre-school

Fischer is enjoying pre-school and they tell us that he eats his lunch! ;) He did cry again today... but tomorrow is another try! He does seem to enjoy it when we pick him up and tells us all about it! Tomorrow will be his first long day at school, 0800-1630. He should be happy with it since he will get to play on the big playground!
Kennedy is doing good as Mrs. Marnas house! She loves all the horsey pictures and taking her horse bag with her everyday.

Josh has been taking horse riding lessons with me @ the barn... I have to remind myself to get some pics of him and post them.... I will make sure to do that THIS week!

Love you all!

Ohayo gozaimasu - Good Morning!

Fischers First Day of Japanese SchoolWe woke up @ 800 to get Fischer ready for school! We ate breakfast, brushed our teeth and fixed his hair. I got him all dressed up in his uniform and put on his backpack! Of course, Kennedy had to have a backpack on too! He talked about how he would cover his mouth if he coughed and tell them when he had to go pee. He was very excited in the car! We got to school, took his picture in front of the steps. He started getting nervous when he sat down to take off his shoes to go with his teacher! We told him bye and love you, and took one last picture. He cried. We left. Well, we did walk back after we paid in the office... he was still crying for his Daddy. But the lady told us "it is ok" and motioned for us to leave! Poor little man... he will have fun and I will tell you all about his day when he gets home!

Getting our hair fixed!
Putting on our uniform!
Yuck Dad! Cleaning up Fischers hands and face for school!
He looks a little angry! ;) " Love you Fischer, have a good day at school!"
