We had a fun weekend! Saturday we went to Comprehensive park (there are pictures in a earlier blog from it) and we took our bikes. We brough Fischers Bike and Kennedy rode in the back of mine. It was a short bike ride to the playground, but took us a good 20 min with Fischer on his bike!! He got a little scared going down hill so he walked next to his bike while going down! We played and took a juice break. We then went to the pond and watched the fish and rode our bikes back. The last 1/2 mile, I carried Fischers bike on the front of my bike, while Josh had Fischer on his handle bars! :) It was fun and exhausting... so we stopped by McDonalds and each got a 100 Yen shakes on the way home!!

On Sunday, we went to our usually sunday brunch @ Tengan Castle! By the way, I love apple Crepes! Afterwards we went to Nago City. We first went to the Pineapple Park! You start out the tour of the pineapple park in a self driven golf cart type vehicle. It tells you all about the different kinds of trees, and fruits and you drive by. And you get to see how the pineapples are grown. No Cameras are allowed, but we bought the pictures that they took of us... i will try and scan them tomorrow to put on here. You then go throught the pineapple winery, and where they make all different kinds of pineapple food. Pineapple Choclate, Cake, Cookies, Pie, etc. Kennedy LOVED it! I dont think I have ever seen her eat so much! Josh and I had to stop b.c we felt sick! After the pineapple park we went to our favorite park in Okinawa... you should all be familiar with this park, we have put it on here many of times... Neo Park! No pictures today, we didnt have our camera.. but the usual of feeding the lemurs, playing with the wild boar, and feeding the spider monkeys are our favorite things to do there! We then drove to the center of Nago City and hiked up about 1000 steps to a Nago Castle. It was a great view of the island! But man were we tired... except for Kennedy.. I think it was all that pineapple! I couldnt believe that she kept climbing the stairs (we gave her a break and held her some of the time) but she would just keep climbing and be mad when we picked her up! Fischer was saying how is legs hurt! ;) He was probably a little sore from riding his bike so much the day before! ;) We walked back down the huge amount of stairs with the kids on our shoulder and drove back to base.... stopped by the commisary (grocery store for those of you who dont know the military lingo!) and went home, cooked, ate, played on bikes and trikes in the hallway, and know the kids are in bed fast asleep without any complaint. They were happy to lay down and crash!
Now it is off to another work week! Next Saturday I am taking some things to the flea market to sell and throwing the Halloween Party in the evening! I am positive we will have pictures of that!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM AND CHRIS!!! LOVE YOU
