Home Sweet Home.

We are back in Okinawa, and pretty well adjusted to the time change. (I think i had a harder time than the kids, with the time change!) I am busy with work and completing daycare paperwork. Fischer starts Japanese Preschool on Sept. 1st and Kennedy starts at-home day care on the 25th. She is going to be taken care of by a friend of mine that runs a daycare. I am taking both the kids to get shots this morning. And next week I have Summer Camp for kids @ the barn. So busy, busy, busy! I promise I will get pictures up soon! (Josh took his computer to work and that is were all the pictures are at)

Love you all!

Talk to you soon!

WOW! Time Flies....

So we headed to the states on July 5th and are on our way home! We got to visit with family and friends and now it is back home... Which out of all seriousness... I cant wait to be home! I have a jammed packed schedule for the next few weeks with work and the kids getting into preschool and daycare! But I will sooner or later get pictures up and blogs of our trip!

Bad News... I couldnt catch a military hop back to Okinawa and I have met my deadline that I need to be back to work.. Soooo, we had to buy 3 (yes 3!) commercial tickets to get back home. Fischer Kennedy and I leave early in the morning to head back with a stop in Taiwan.

It was nice to see all of you and will be back on here, shortly!

Love you all!

Newest Family Member!

可愛い
"Kawaii"
She is our newest family member! The kids love it! and I potty-trained her in one day. She just hops around the house all day and chews on the kids' blocks! ;) And goes in her cage when she eats, pottys and sleeps! I never knew that rabbits were housebreakable, and were social. I figured they just sat in a cage all the time. When I was in one of my college classes people were talking about how you can potty train them and they can live openly in the house. Kennedy LOVES her! She follows her around the house and calls her a kitty cat! ;) Yesterday Kennedy came in the dining room carrying her with her head closest to her and the bunnies butt sticking out! It was cute, but i thought she might drop her.. but she set her down nicely! So we saw her the other day at the japanese mall (Naval Kadena) and picked her up for 円12,000. Including Cage, food, water bottle, hay, and litter box w/ litter. (approx: $110) The rabbit alone was about $39. I wonder how much a rabbit is in the states?? But she sure is cute and cuddly!

The beginning of a Collection!

Okinawa Insect Collection

Josh decided to start collecting all the bugs that Fischer catches! Well then, he started getting a little carried away... like he does with alot of things! ;) When Josh and Chris went to the Okinawan Castle he caught the cicadas (bottom 2 bugs with wings and big eyes) & the June Bug (Green bug above cicadas) Then he took Fischer outside to find bugs and found those little bugs on the top left side. (A millipede, roach, grubs, and even a fly) Then Josh wanted to go to my work (horse barn) to find some cooler bugs! On our way we stopped by the beach where we take the horses to swim and he found the grasshopper, and the Banana Spider ( The big orange and black spider on right) It is the largest spider in Japan, and gets much bigger than the one in the picture. They are very poisionous if bitten by, but are said to leave you alone if you leave them alone. Obvioiusly Josh didnt leave this one alone, but he is still alive and didnt get bit! He also caught a dragon Fly at the barn. I am not sure who is more interested in this collection? Fischer or Josh? LOL We are going to get a shadowbox and label it, so that we can keep it hung up for Fischer with all the insects we catch in Okinawa! Maybe one day he can do a science project with it!

By the way... Fischer asked last night when we were going to eat them! LOL I think he has been eating to many weird things here in Okinawa and now he cant establish what he is suppose to eat, and what he isnt! LOL

Goodbye Uncle Chris

On the way to the airport.
Monday Morning, June 30th (Okinawa Time) We were on our way to the Naha Airport to drop off Uncle Chris to head back to America. Chris was nervous, didnt want to eat, drink, talk..lol! He had a layover in Tokyo and was nervous about getting off the plane and getting to his next one. I was pretty assured that he would figure it out.. for 2 reasons.. He did the same thing on the way here and made it & He had 3 hours to do it! hehe! He made it back to San Fransico, with a ride home from Pow-pow Darryl!
Chris was such a great help while he was here. I was spoiled! I am going to miss him very much when we get back home in August. From him washing the dishes and cleaning, to being able to go to the Dr. and leave the kids here with him. Not to mention I didnt have to wake up the kids to get them ready for the babysitters before I went to work every morning. Man, I really am going to miss him. Maybe I will just fly out my brother Allen for a Okinawa Trip! LOL ;)
Did you hear that everyone? Ill just start a waiting list! Get on my sign-up List, if you want to take a month to come to Okinawa and be my in-house Nanny/ Babysitter, I will pay for your Plane Ticket, food and Board! Family Only! ;) Serious inquiries Only! Contact me Via Email! LOL
Love you Chris and thank you SO much for all the help! Hope you enjoyed all the experiences you got to encounter here in Okinawa!
Love, Josh, Sam, Fischer, and Kennedy!

One Last Site Seeing...

Okinawan Castle

Josh and Chris went to the old Okinawan Castle down the street from our base. Well, what is left of a castle with alot of different caves and graves. It has a real nice view. Josh wanted to make sure that Chris got to see this peice of the island, he took him the day before he left and got a few good pictures!
